About The Car Show VIP Award
The founding of the Car Show VIP Award began in January of 2024 during the World of Wheels car show in Chattanooga, Tennessee. David Rose was showing his 1930 Ford Roadster. The car won first in class and a vendor award "Pre-49 Pick" from KAHR Motorsports. Learn more about David's car here 30bea.com. David immediately realized that the Pre-49 Pick award was presented by a vendor in the show. David took the award sign to the vendor and asked if this was his. David met Koy at that point. Koy explained how he awards his favorite cars at the shows he attends and places his trophy metal sign on the floor at the front of each car. After more conversation Koy explained that he is producing the inaugural Hiawassee Rod Run in June of 2024. David decided to attend and asked if he could sponsor a vendor award in his show like Koy did for the World of Wheels. Koy welcomed the offer. David registered his car in the Hiawassee Rod Run early in the year. David had to do some major restoration work on his car and realized that he was not going to have his car ready for the June show. David told Koy to give his registration spot away to a young hot rodder who was just getting started into the hot rod industry. Koy posted on Facebook that he had a sponsored registration to give away to a young person for the show event. He found Kaitlyn Feller. Kaitlyn is a young lady who was given a Mustang by her step father. Her step father helped her swap out the four cylinder engine for a V8 and trans, change the body color and apply seat covers. The show registration giveaway was a success. Thus, the Car Show VIP Award was born. |

Kaitlyn is the recipient of the sponsored car show registration, she won TOP 50 in the show and the Car Show VIP Award. Not bad for a first show. Congratulations Kaitlyn.
